Applications to sing the Monteverdi Vespers have exceeded our expectations and we can't accept any more, but please do Come & Hear as it promises to be a performance worthy of the music. Also there will be future Come & Sing events so do sign up to the email subscription list on the left.
The Golden Sound of 17th Century Venice
The Leeds Guild of Singers invite you to take part in an intensive but exciting and enjoyable Choral and Orchestral workshop weekend, taking place on the 19th and 20th of April 2007 at St Matthew's Church, Chapel Allerton, Leeds, continuing the success of our similar events in past seasons with Fauré's Requiem, Haydn's Creation, Tallis' Spem In Alium, and Mozart's Requiem. The detailed timetable is shown below, leading to the performance which is part of the Music at St Matthew's series.
Ticket prices for participating singers are £15, or £10 for concessions, or £5 for full-time students. This includes hire of music (we will be using the King's Music version edited by Clifford Bartlett). There is an additional charge for posting a choral score ahead of the weekend.
