From Esse est percipi aut percipere (to be is to be perceived or to
perceive) by Bishop George Berkeley, the 18th century philosopher. Although
counted as one of the three British Empiricists he was actually an idealist.
The typeface is Baskerville, also from the 18th century. John Baskerville took
years to fulfill his wish to perfect the visual clarity and refinement of
printed texts.
